More Than A Bloom
The woman today knows she is an oak tree not just a mere flower. She has forbidden herself to be praised that she is complete at the sight of her first bloom of a few flowers.
She knows that her roots can reach for more water.
The water of knowledge. Fueling her stems to see more branches come out. More flowers to bloom more fruit to share and more seeds to plant.
That’s her her new revelation. That her fruit today is seed for another like her tomorrow. She knows her strength is not for her alone.
Her fruit is one to show the other shoots of flowers that they can be more. They are more than the repressed trees they’ve been told they are. They can do more than bloom pretty. They can grow past the bloom. They can have more root. They can have more branches and more fruit.
